Zultys IP Phones

Zultys manufactures its own IP phones the Zultys ZIP product range which complete its end to end IP telephony solution.

However, the Zultys platform is a truly "open" system, and Zultys encourages use of certified SIP phones. Through its certification process Zultys ensures interoperability for leading SIP phone product ranges. This interoperability includes automatic provisioning and software updates as well as call functionality.

This "open" stance has given Zultys the best range of telephones that "the market" can deliver and ensures that our customers will always have phones available to them at the best prices, and not be locked into a PBX system where the manufacturer has a monopoly on phones and can charge whatever they feel they can get away with.

Currently certified ip phones include:

• Aastra IP phones and operator consoles
• Polycom IP phones and conference phones
• Cisco SIP compliant phones
• Cyberdata ceiling mount paging phones.

Zultys have gone one stage further with Aastra and a full OEM agreement is in place with Aastra ip phones re-branded as Zultys Zip 5i.

Siracom also distributes the Aastra and Polycom Ranges.

Zultys ZIP 2x2 SIP Telephone

The ZIP 2x2 integrates the functions of a managed switch with a business telephone, and provides a backlit display for convenient viewing. This VoIP phone is referred to as a 'two by two' because it has two call appearances and two Ethernet circuits. It uses SIP for call control and supports all standard PBX functions.

4 LEDs provide instant indication of status and other fucntions include speech encryption for secure conversations, downloadable ring tones and menu, browser, and TFTP support for configuration and updates.

Zultys ZIP 4x4L SIP Telephone

The ZIP 4x4L integrates the functions of a managed switch with a business phone, and adds an address book, a calculator, and a speaker phone. The phone is referred to as a ?four by four? because it has four call appearances and four Ethernet circuits. The phone is available in a color scheme designed to suit any office.

The ZIP 4x4L is based on open standards. It uses SIP for call control, making it compatible with Windows Messenger and any IP phone system using the SIP standards. The switch on the phone supports all applicable standards for VLANs and QoS, ensuring it is compatible with any network, new or old. The phone can be powered from an ac adapter or receive power over an Ethernet connection.

In day to day operation, end users can access all features and functions quickly and unambiguously. The phone has 35 buttons and keys which eliminate the need to plow through menus and a frustrating quagmire of soft keys.
