GS8 Modular GSM Gateway

The Zed-3 GS8 is a modular GSM gateway providing inter-connectivity between SIP, Analog (FXO and FXS), and GSM services and providing corporate SMS text gateway functionality.

Free Land-line to GSM Calls

It enables businesses to minimise GSM call costs by ensuring that they are routed to GSM networks using the least cost route – a GSM SIM card. This often allows companies to reduce their land line to mobile costs to zero.

Free International GSM Calls

International GSM calls may also be routed to a remote office before breakout to a GSM gateway eliminating international GSM calls.

Telephony Resilience

The gateway can also be used as a telephony resilience device allowing failover to GSM in the event of a PSTN or SIP service failure.

Temporary Offices

Where wired telephony services are difficult or slow to provision a new or temporary office may use the GS8 to immediately facilitate voice services.

SMS Text Gateway

The GS8 also operates as an SMS text gateway enabling business to send and receive text messages from a desktop application. This has many applications for consumer facing businesses wishing to send personal non-intrusive reminders, or messages to large groups of people.
